Virtual Roots - Custom folder shortcuts

Omniscope version 2023.2 b21751 introduces the capability to include folder shortcuts in the Project list sidebar. 

The virtual roots feature enables users to specify custom folder locations, visible on the Project list page.

NOTE: Only users who have access to the actual folder will be able to see the shortcut.

How to define a virtual folder

1. Go to the Admin web app
   
   
   
2.  Click Virtual roots
3. Add a new custom folder location which is a sub-folder of the main Omniscope folder.
   
4. Save your changes.
5. Go to the Project list page and you should see the new virtual folder if you have access to the folder.
   

NOTE: When the user clicks on a virtual folder shortcut on the project list page the breadcrumbs will NOT show the path to the folder.
