Troubleshooting Omniscope activation - manual activation

If you find that you are unable to activate your 16 digit Omniscope key, it may be because your company's firewall is blocking access to our server, which is required for activation.


One of the errors you may see if your firewall is blocking access is:



In order to fix this problem, you may need to contact your Network Administrator to whitelist  "services.visokio.com". Once it's whitelisted, check you can access the server by going to your browser and typing: 

https://services.visokio.com


You should see the following if you can successfully access the server.




Next, try activating again.


Manual activation


If you still have problems trying to get online activation to work, you can try activating using "manual" activation option. 


If you are using Omniscope Evo, the link to manual activation is available from the Admin > Licensing > enter licence key page.

On the other hand, if you are using Omniscope Classic, to activate manually you should attempt to activate again from the Help > Licensing menu, and then on failure, you will automatically be prompted to try manual activation.


During this process, as per prompt, you will need to copy a block of code into an empty box on the web page.
