Using the in-memory alternative data engine (unsupported)

In some environments, the default data engine does not work out of the box. There is an alternative data engine option in Omniscope that isn't fully supported but is available for experimentation or as a workaround.


Navigate to Admin > Data Engine And Storage. At the top, change "Default Data Engine" to "Omniscope Classic, in-memory (low volume)". 

After changing, restart Omniscope. If you continue to experience data engine errors, send the App diagnostics to support@visokio.com as suggested in the error.
